Kitchen Cook
Full-Time or Part-Time Position Available

We’re looking for a talented and reliable Kitchen Cook to join our team at Jaques Coffee Plantation - Mareeba. You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes, including pizzas, in our fully equipped commercial kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a relaxed, fun environment on a beautiful coffee plantation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food to the highest standard.
• Manage stock and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and organized.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards (food handler certification required or willingness to obtain).
• Work with the team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment (pizza-making experience is a plus).
• A reliable car and valid driver’s license to travel to work.
• Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for creating high-quality food and excellent customer service.

Shift Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
• Friday: 8:30 am to 7:30 pm
