  Part-Time Position Available - 35 Hours per week - Weekdays (no weekend work)

  Jaques Coffee Lounge is part of the iconic Jaques Coffee Plantation in Mareeba. A family-run destination café known for our paddock-to-cup experience. This position offers an excellent work–life balance, no weekends, no public holidays, and consistent daytime hours.
  
  About the Role:
  You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving delicious café-style meals, maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen, and supporting our team to deliver fresh, quality food to our customers. The role also includes stock ordering, inventory checks, and ensuring supplies are well managed for smooth daily operations.

  Hours & Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

  • No weekend work

  • No work on public holidays

  • Consistent hours and a friendly, supportive environment

  Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a cook in a café or restaurant environment

  • Must hold a current Food Handling Certificate

  • Experience in stock ordering and inventory management

  • Strong time management and teamwork skills

  • Passion for great food, presentation, and quality

  • Reliable, positive, and professional attitude

  What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay rate $60,000 to $65,000 per annum + Super, based on experience
